The rumors of his retirement were greatly exaggerated. Steven Soderbergh returns to the big screen with LOGAN LUCKY, a hilarious heist comedy that only the director of OCEANs 11, 12 and 13 could bring us. A down-on-their-luck hillbilly family is dead-set on reversing their curse, and the best way they know how is to execute a daring - and maybe over-elaborate - heist at the Coca-Cola 600 race at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Things, as you might expect, do not go smoothly. Soderbergh’s return to heist comedy is accompanied with an all-new cast of terrific actors. The endearingly dim Logan siblings are played by Channing Tatum (Soderbergh’s star in the iconic MAGIC MIKE), Adam Driver (STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS) and Riley Keough (MAD MAX: FURY ROAD). They’re joined by co-stars Seth MacFarlane (TED), Hilary Swank (BOYS DON’T CRY) and Sebastian Stan (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER). And joining this cast is an exciting new discovery, a young fella by the name of Daniel Craig, playing Joe Bang, a guy who cracks safes with explosives (his name gives it away). Funny and smart, filled with a real warm heart for the bumbling characters and the burning rubber world of high speed car racing, LOGAN LUCKY is an explosive and awesome return for one of our greatest filmmakers.
